These smallcap and midcap stocks staged a smart recovery from days low!
Recovery from the lower levels indicates that the market participants actively participated in these stocks at the lower levels.
On November 15, Nifty started with a slight gap up of about 38 points. The Nifty index did try to get past 18200-level early in the morning, but it failed to do so. Nifty filled its gap and was trading flat for most of the day. Towards the end of the session, Nifty tried one last time to gain some points, but the bears managed to pull it down. In today's trading session, Nifty formed a red candle with a wick on a higher side. This formation gives no indication of what the Nifty outlook for the near term will be as we are witnessing a good fight among the bulls and the bears. VIX was slightly up by 1.64 per cent.
In today's trade, Nifty was supported by Power Grid Corp and Cipla which gained 3.4 per cent and 2.4 per cent each, but the ones pulling the market down were Coal India and Tata Steel. Given the fact that the market was on the weaker side today, it would be interesting to know which stocks have witnessed recovery from the day’s low.
