These small-cap stocks gained when Sensex, Nifty tumbled on Friday
During the second-half of Friday's trading session, domestic benchmark indices slipped into the negative territory. Sensex plunged by more than 1000 points from its intraday high of 51821.84, to close at 50792.08 levels. Even as Sensex took a U-turn , few of the small-cap stocks sizzled and caught investors' attention.
BSE SmallCap index outperformed domestic benchmark indices gaining by 0.14 per cent.
Shares of MTNL, Jindal Poly Films and Apollo Films locked in at their respective upper circuits.
ITDC, India Glycols, Majesco, and Punjab Cement were some of the top SmallCap losers on Friday.
