These BSE small-cap stocks hit 20 per cent upper circuit in the pre-opening session today!

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 112.39 points or 0.19 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index was trading at the level of 58,148.99, a gain of 12.63 points over its previous close.  

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals got hammered by 0.1 per cent, power strengthened by 0.5 per cent, whereas auto surged 0.4 per cent.  

Meanwhile, Subex Ltd and Navneet Education Limited emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.   

Subex Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, rallied 20 per cent to trade at Rs 33.30 apiece. This rally came on the back of an announcement made by the company on Tuesday.   

As per the exchange filing, Jio Platforms Limited (JPL), a leading Indian technology company (a subsidiary of RIL), announced a collaboration with Subex for its AI orchestration platform - HyperSense, which can enable telcos to deliver on the promise of AI across the data value chain. In this partnership, JPL will offer its Cloud Native 5G Core to telcos globally along with Subex's HyperSense for enabling closed-loop network automation, product performance, and customer experience analytics.  

Navneet Education Limited, another S&P BSE Smallcap company, surged 20 per cent to trade at Rs 126.65 apiece. This surge came on the back of a robust set of quarterly numbers reported by the company on Tuesday after market hours. As per the exchange filing, in Q1FY23, the company’s consolidated revenue grew 111.6 per cent YoY to Rs 693.74 crore. Similarly, the PAT jumped by a stellar 266 per cent YoY to Rs 133.76 crore.
