These are the top performing penny stocks of August so far
August has been a month where several records were broken. Nifty and BSE Sensex managed to trade at record highs in August while BSE SmallCap Index slipped into the red in August. BSE Sensex jumped higher by 5.79 per cent while BSE SmallCap Index slipped by ~3 per cent in August so far.
Several stocks were seen making fresh 52-week highs in August even as penny stocks were seen jumping higher in a month where large caps managed to outperform broader markets.
We find that at least 167 Penny Stock managed to more than double in 2021 alone so far while Kanel Industries is the top performing penny stock of 2021 so far, soaring higher by 1227 per cent. Jainco Projects (India) Ltd zoomed higher by 1153.09 per cent in 2021. What is interesting to note is that both these 10 baggers have slipped in August, underperforming markets heavily by dropping more than 22 per cent (Jainco Projects) and 45 per cent (Kanel).
