Tera Software bags Smart city order
Tera Software has bagged a work order worth of Rs. 74.84 crore as a part of Smart City Mission, an emerging domain of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to act as System Integrator for implementation of PAN City ICT project in Davanagere City, State of Karnataka.
The scope of the order is to implement and integrate City Surveillance System, Smart Health Management, Solid Waste Management System, Water supply system, Underground Drainage, Intelligent Traffic Management System, Smart Parking, Intelligent Transport System, City Wi-Fi, Environment Sensors, e-Learning Centres, Smart energy/Roof Top Solar System, Smart Street Lighting and Quality Monitoring System.
Tera Software is a provider of integrated IT solutions. The company provides complete solutions from proof of concept to wide area replication in many e-governance verticals like education, registration, utilities, transportation, health, distribution, administration, co-operatives and agri-marketing; total turnkey system integration and networking solutions for banks, PSUs, defence and research organizations.
The stock reacted positively to this update and touched an intraday high of Rs. 29.95 per share on Tuesday. At 2:40 pm, the stock traded at Rs. 29.25 per share, down by 1 per cent on BSE Sensex while the index traded at 35,016, up by 65 points.
