TCS joins hands with Equinor for accelerating its digital transformation
Tata Consultancy Services announced on Tuesday that it has strategically collaborated with Equinor, a Norwegian state-owned multinational energy company.
Under this collaboration, TCS will help Equinor to speed up its digitalisation process and enable it realise the vision of becoming a digital energy company.
Leveraging on deep domain knowledge of the energy sector, TCS with its investments in research & innovation, expertise & scale in digital technologies, would help achieve data democratisation across Equinor’s core operations. Harnessing its power of machine learning and advanced analytics, TCS will enable Equinor to achieve its development and transformation objectives.
Using the DATOM framework, TCS will assess data maturity levels, identify gaps, and develop a roadmap to simplify operating models as well as set up data governance models. It will also build technology patterns and architectures to help Equinor leverage data and analytics to attain superior business outcomes.
In addition to that, the location-independent agile model of TCS would be used to set up innovative ways of working that will help improve speed to market while helping align outcomes closely with business objectives.
Today, the stock of TCS closed at Rs 2,631.45, down by 2.09 per cent or Rs 56.2 on BSE. Its share showed a downward trend and recorded an intraday low of Rs 2,625.
