TCS and Japan-based Cainz Corporation join hands to spur digital transformation

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), an Indian multinational information technology services and consulting company, announced today that it has partnered with Cainz Corporation (CAINZ) to spur the latter’s digital transformation, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
Cainz Corporation is a home improvement company located in Japan and has 226 stores across 28 prefectures nationwide. It has undertaken this digital transformation process to keep up with the diverse consumer needs and behaviours.
In this partnership, TCS shall help CAINZ by developing ‘Find in CAINZ’, a mobile application for customers and store associates for identifying the location and availability of products in the store. Furthermore, TCS is setting up a new Global Development Centre for CAINZ, which will help the latter to scale up its co-development initiatives. It will do so by capitalizing its deep contextual and domain knowledge as well as global best practices for driving agile development of digital solutions.
At 12.15 pm, the share price of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was trading at Rs 3635.10, which was an increase of 0.66 per cent from the previous week’s closing price of Rs 3611.3 on BSE.
