Tata Communications launches hybrid network for Carlsberg
Tata Communications has installed a next-gen software-defined hybrid network for Carlsberg. Shares of Tata Communications were up approximately 2 per cent around noon.
Carlsberg’s global SAIL’s 22 is a company strategy that was launched in 2016 with the ambition to make Carlsberg Group a successful, professional and attractive brewer.
Tata Communications has stepped in to harness the power of the internet and cloud computing to strengthen efficiencies and reduce costs of Carlsberg. The new network has given the brewer 10 times more bandwidth, reduced costs by 25 per cent, and halved the occurrence of network incidents. The hybrid network is a combination of Tata Communications’ IZO Internet WAN and Global Virtual Private Network, with an IZO SDWAN overlay.
On Tuesday, at 12:50 pm, the intraday high was Rs. 511.50 per share and intraday low was Rs. 493.30 per share on the BSE. Its 52-week high was Rs. 1,070 and 52-week low was Rs. 723.55 per share. The shares of Tata communications was trading at Rs 509.50 per share, up 3.23 per cent. Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was at 35,138.97 level, up 0.57 per cent while Nifty 50 was at 10,570.35, up 0.44 per cent.
