Tata Comm, DTTech partner to provide cloud-based network in Africa
Tata Communications and South Africa-based Dreamtime Technologies (DTTech) will help African mobile operators provide seamless mobile and IoT service across the African continent.
The two entities will partner to provide a new cloud-based digital mobile network for African mobile and IoT providers. The cloud-based network will extend the reach of mobile network operators (MNOs) and Internet of Things (IoT) providers and expand their customer base. The user base will benefit from direct connectivity to Tata’s superfast subsea fibre network.
Tata Communications MOVE platform will enable DTTech's customer access mobile network on across Africa on a pay as you go basis. DTTech provides ICT services to agriculture, banking healthcare, mining, transport and retail sector.
Meanwhile, at 15:05 hours on Tuesday, the stock of Tata Comm was trading at Rs. 623.55 per share, up by 0.48 per cent on BSE, while the BSE Sensex was at 34,427.72, up by 122.29 points or 0.36 per cent.
