Panic selloff has been seen across all sectors, with major losses led by banking and auto stocks in the afternoon session.

The domestic markets maintained a positive momentum through the trading session supported by optimistic global cues and a few domestic factors which caused a rally in realty, automobile and banking stocks. Sensex ended 379.43 points or 0.64 per cent up at 59,842.21 while Nifty settled 127.10 points or 0.72 per cent up at 17,825.30 level. 

The pharmaceutical sector in India ranks third in terms of volume and fourteenth in terms of value (both globally).  The domestic market is anticipated to increase three times in the next ten years, according to the Indian Economic Survey 2021.
