On Wednesday, the Sensex fell by 927 points to close at 59,744.98, while the Nifty 50 dropped by marginal 274 points to close at 17,552.60

Interestingly, the index moved in a range of 116 points, which was the narrowest in the last seven trading sessions; as a result, the index has formed an NR7 bar.  Among sectoral indices, Nifty Energy and Nifty IT were the top two gainers while on the flip side, Nifty Metal & Nifty FMCG turned out to be the top losers.

On Friday, the stock witnessed a staggering move of over 10 per cent along with a sharp jump in the volumes. The stock recorded its highest single-day volume so far in the last six months! Its volume already exceeded the prior trading session’s volume and has become the highest single-day volume in the last four months.
