Nifty’s range for the day was about 71 points, which is the lowest witnessed in the last one month. It had logged a fresh all-time high level of 17,438.55, surpassing its earlier high of 17,436.50, which was registered on September 7. However, it failed to hold at higher levels and trimmed its gains from the day’s high.   

The broader market indices outperformed the frontline gauge as Nifty Midcap 100 and Smallcap 100 jumped 1.35 per cent & 0.29 per cent, respectively.   

Let’s have a look at the stocks that should be on your watchlist for swing trading purposes. These stocks are selected based on the T20 breakout system criteria.       

So, here is the list:   

BEML: The stock jumped over 6 per cent and recorded its highest single-day volume in the last couple of months. Moreover, the bulk of the volume was witnessed in the second half of the trading session. Keep a close watch on this stock.  

CESC: The stock soared nearly 5 per cent and recorded its highest single-day volume in the last couple of months. Moreover, the bulk of the volume was witnessed in the second half of the trading session. Watch out for this stock!  

GAIL: The stock outperformed the benchmark indices as well as the broader indices. It has recorded its highest single-day volume in a long time. Volumes were robust and it has managed to close near its day’s high. Hence, keep a close watch on this stock.   

Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC): The stock closed at a fresh all-time high level, backed by a spurt in the volumes. Hence, do keep a watch on this stock.   

Network18 Media & Investments: The stock witnessed good action on Tuesday as the volume and price criteria of the T20 breakout system have matched.   

Solar Industries: The stock has closed near its day’s high and also, witnessed good volume action.   

Sunteck Realty: The stock has met the criteria of the T20 breakout system. Interestingly, it recorded more than 50 per cent of the volume in the second half of the trading session and also, closed near its day’s high.
