Suzlon wins 2 projects of 500MW from SECI
Suzlon Group, India’s major energy solutions provider, on Monday announced that it has won two projects of 300 MW and 200 MW each under SECI (Solar Energy Corporation of India) bid. The projects are mainly for the progress of wind power generation.
The projects will provide electricity to around 3 million households and cut down CO2 emission by around 10MT per year.
Suzlon is planning to install 238 units of S111 140m wind turbine generators (WTGs) with rated capacity of 2.1 MW each. The project is situated in Kutch, Gujarat.

On Monday, the stock opened at Rs. 11.88 per share and touched an intra-day low of Rs. 11.34, on the BSE. At 11:44 hours, the stock was trading at Rs. 11.48 per share down by 1.80 per cent.
