Surya Roshni rises on receiving orders worth around Rs 200 crore

The company informed today that it has received an order from lndradhanush Gas Grid Limited (IGGL) for the supply of coated line pipes.  

Surya Roshni will be providing the supply of coated line pipes for gas grid pipeline project in the North-East territory of Tripura, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh to IGGL. The total value of the project is estimated to be worth Rs 170.52 crore, excluding GST while the time period for completing the project is 10 months.   

Amidst the journey from a subtle beginning to spearheading the technological revolution in the twenty-first century, Surya Roshni Limited has come a long way from being a mere steel tube-making unit in 1973 to becoming one of the largest LED bulb manufacturers. Today, Surya Group has emerged into a colossal of more than Rs 5,975 crore in FY 2018-19. The company is currently exporting products to over 50 countries across the globe. On Tuesday, at the time of market closing, the share price of the company was trading 1.96 per cent higher at Rs 491.20 on BSE.
