Surya Roshni bags Rs. 58.39 crore order from GoI
Surya Roshni, a Delhi-based lighting and GI steel pipe manufacturer, announced that it has won order worth Rs. 58.39 crore, on Tuesday.
The order was awarded by Energy Efficiency Services Limited, a joint venture company of Government of India.
The order aggregating Rs. 58.39 crore, excluding GST, is for the supply of 3 million integrated LED Battens. The timeframe in which the order is to be executed is 4 months.
Surya Roshni is in the business of manufacturing electric resistance welded (ERW) steel pipes & lighting products, with facilities at Bahadurgarh (Haryana), Kashipur (Uttarakhand) and Malanpur (Madhya Pradesh).
In June 2019, the company received order of Rs. 151.88 crore for APT 3lPE coated line pipes from Bharat Gas Resources.
On Tuesday, the stock opened at Rs. 213.35 per share and made an intraday high and low of Rs. 223.25 and Rs. 212.35 respectively on the BSE. The stock settled for the day at Rs. 219.45 apiece, up by 0.8 per cent from previous close. The stock had hit 52-week high of Rs. 363.90 on August 9, 2018 and 52-week low of Rs. 185.05 on December 10, 2018.
