Surya Roshni bags order worth Rs. 59 crore
The shares of Surya Roshni closed 2 per cent higher in Monday’s trading session as the company announced winning orders worth Rs 59 crore from Government of Odisha Housing and Urban Department.
According to the contract, Surya Roshni will be responsible for the design, testing, supply, operation & maintenance of LED Luminaires and Poles and also other such related works. More specifically, the company will erect street Lights (ranging from 45w to 110w) and 10675 Poles (ranging from 8 to 9 meter height). The project falls under the Odisha Greenfield Street Light PPP Project for Cluster ‘C’ in Balasore, (Bhadrak, jajpur, Kendrpara, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj. The company has been given four months duration to complete the said task.
On Monday, the shares of the company opened at Rs. 219.95 per share against Friday’s close of Rs. 216.65 on the BSE. Around noon, after the announcement, the shares of the company closed 2.24 per cent up at Rs 221.50. The intraday high was Rs 224.70 and intraday low was Rs. 217 per share on the BSE. Its 52-week high was Rs. 522.35 and 52-week low was Rs. 201 per share on the BSE.
Meanwhile, BSE Sensex closed at 35,774.88 level, up by 0.90 per cent and Nifty closed at Rs 10,763.40 up by 0.76 per cent.
