Surya Roshni bags new order, stock reacts positively
Surya Roshni, Delhi-based fans, steel, lightning, LED and PVC Pipes manufacturing company, informed stock exchanges about winning an order worth Rs. 102.52 crore.
The first order was awarded by Energy Efficiency Services Ltd., a Joint Venture company of PSUs of Ministry of Power, Government of India. The received order is for LED bulbs aggregated to Rs. 33.03 crore to provide 67,00,000 LED bulbs which are to be executed within the next 3 months.
Surya Roshni also bagged an order from BHEL which is worth Rs. 69.49 crore. In this order, the company will have to supply ERW pipes as per IS 3589 at Yadadri TPS in Telangana. The order includes 400 NB 9.5 thick 1,30,000 metre ERW pipe which is to be completed within the next 5 months.
Reacting to the news, the stock reacted positively and erased losses to touch its intraday high of Rs. 234.75. At 12:10 pm, the stock traded at per share price of Rs. 233.15 on BSE. The benchmark index BSE Sensex traded at 36,157.20, down by 97.37 points.
