Sun Pharma brings in Akshay Kumar to pitch for Revital H

Sun Pharma Consumer Healthcare, a division of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited has announced that is has signed Bollywood star Akshay Kumar as the new brand ambassador of Revital H.

Akshay Kumar is known for his high energy levels and is popular for martial art stunts. The company believes the actor is a natural fit for the product Revital H, a brand that keeps one’s energy and stamina high throughout the day. A 360-degree marketing campaign featuring Akshay Kumar will go live from Monday.

Revital H is India’s most popular and leading health supplement for over two decades. It is a combination of 10 vitamins, 9 minerals and ginseng that helps increase stamina, boost energy levels and fight chronic tiredness. The campaign would run with the tagline of ‘Ab sabki battery rahegi full’ promoting the idea that no matter how physically challenging the task one does, Revital H helps keeps one’s stamina & energy high.

Through the years the brand has focused its efforts on building its equity in the energy domain and the new campaign aims to strengthen this positioning further. The campaign includes TV, print, social, out-of-home and on-ground consumer initiatives. The Vitamins and Dietary Supplements Category in India is estimated at Rs.9,362 crores, growing at 11.5 per cent.

On Friday, the stock had closed at Rs. 558.45 on BSE. On Monday, it opened at Rs. 559.10 and surged by 2.6 percent and touched intra-day high of Rs. 573. It closed at Rs. 569.45.
