The BSE Sensex gained 0.52 per cent to 69,653 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index rose 0.40 per cent to a level of 20,937.

BCL Industries Ltd: Following the company's disclosure of the order book summary regarding ethanol supply to oil marketing companies (OMCs), there was a notable surge in buying interest, causing the shares to climb over 15 per cent, reaching a new 52-week high of Rs 73.65 on the BSE.
Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd: The shares experienced a seven-fold increase in trading volume, reaching a fresh 52-week high of Rs 154.70 per share on the BSE. Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers, a public sector undertaking (PSU) with a 75 per cent stake owned by the Government of India, is actively involved in the production and marketing of fertilizers and industrial chemicals.
Balaji Amines Ltd: The company specializes in producing Methylamines, Ethylamines, various derivatives of specialty chemicals, and pharma excipients. It holds a prominent position as one of India's largest manufacturers of aliphatic amines. Today, its shares witnessed an extraordinary 27-fold surge in trading volume, concluding the session with a remarkable gain of over 12 per cent.
