In spite of an initial upbeat start to the session, the key Indian indices experienced a complete turnaround, reversing all their early gains to conclude the session notably lower. This downturn was primarily influenced by declines in the healthcare, energy, and metals sectors. The BSE Sensex declined 0.28 per cent to 65,252 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index fell 0.29 per cent to a level of 19,386.
