Stocks to watch: These smallcap stocks will be in focus tomorrow!

Deep Industries, Aarvi Encon, Himadri Speciality Chemical, Usha Martin, Creative Newtech, K.P.I. Global Infrastructure, Automotive Axles, Chemfab Alkalis and Shyam Century Ferrous made a fresh 52-week high today.

On Wednesday, domestic equity markets ended on a strong note on account of improving global cues. Frontline indices Nifty 50 and Sensex closed in the green territory at 17,472.30 and 58,559.17; with gains of 0.85 per cent and 1.06 per cent respectively.

BSE Smallcap index ended the session with gains of 1.05 per cent at 28,120.74. Top gainers of the index include Gayatri Projects, Centrum Capital, Stylam Industries, Deep Industires, Tata Coffee and Raymond. Top losers comprise of Dharnvarsa Finvest, Vardhman Textiles, GFL, Lemon Tree Hotels and Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys.

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Thursday, March 31, 2022:    

SVP Global Textiles – The company has shared an update on the business operations amidst the current geopolitical situation. Its order book position is robust and stands at approximately Rs 3,000 crore, which is tantamount to 23 months of sales. The company has recently been accredited by ISO-9001, Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and Organic Content Standard (OCS), BCI, OEK-TEX, STD 100, Fair Trade, Supima Gold. It has also been accredited as an approved supplier to prestigious brands such as Zara and Ikea.    

Dilip Buildcon – The company informed the exchange that it has been declared as an L-1 bidder (i.e. the lowest bidder) for a new HAM project under the Karimnagar-Warangal section in the state of Telangana, an order worth Rs 1,647 crore. The project will be under the hybrid annuity model. The completion period stands at 24 months and the company will operate it for 15 years post commercial operation date (COD). 

G R Infraprojects – The company intimated to the exchanges that it has received a letter of award dated March 30, 2022, from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the five new projects under the hybrid annuity model, cumulatively worth Rs 5,774 crore.    

52-week high Stocks – Deep Industries, Aarvi Encon, Himadri Speciality Chemical, Usha Martin, Creative Newtech, KPI Global Infrastructure, Automotive Axles, Chemfab Alkalis, and Shyam Century Ferrous made a fresh 52-week high today.
