On September 12, the major equity barometers witnessed a respectable increase. All the sectors of NSE were up with media, IT, and consumer durable firms seeing the most gains. S&P BSE Sensex rallied 419 points and trades at a level of 60,212.93. Similarly, Nifty 50 index climbed 125 points and is now trading at a level of 17,958.35 points.    

S&P BSE Smallcap index, however, improved 311 points and is currently, trading at 29,839.65. The Top Gainers of the index include Aurionpro Solutions, Xchanging Solutions, Repco Home Finance, TGV SRAAC, and Reliance Power.   

The following Small-Cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Tuesday, September 13, 2022:  

Gujarat Industries Power Co: The company’s board has approved the award of the EPC contract to KEC International at the cost of Rs 244 crore for pooling sub-station of solar wind & hybrid RE park of 2,375 MW capacity in Kutch (Gujarat). The stock gained 5 per cent in the past five trading sessions. The shares of Gujarat Industries Power are trading at Rs 95.30 per share.  

Titagarh Wagons: The company announced a strategic investment by Invitalia, Government of Italy and a private equity fund into its Italian subsidiary. The equity infusion of around Euro 20 million is to strengthen the Italian company to achieve its target profitable growth. The shares of Titagarh Wagons are trading with gains of more than 2 per cent at a price of Rs 159.70 per share.  

Shakti Pumps (India): The company invested Rs 60 lakh in its wholly-owned subsidiary - Shakti Green Industries by subscribing to 6 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each. The consolidated investment is Rs 7.26 crore after subscribing aforesaid equity shares. The shares of Shakti Pumps rallied over 3 per cent today and are currently trading at Rs 576.40 per share.
