Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus tomorrow!

GSS Infotech, Silver Touch Technologies, Avro India, Kohinoor Foods, Kanani Industries, Hardwyn India and Mukand Engineers made a fresh 52-week high today

On Monday, the domestic equity markets experienced a choppy volatile session. Nifty 50 and Sensex closed in the positive territory at 15,842.30 & 52,973.84 levels, respectively with gains of approximately 0.35 per cent each.     

BSE Smallcap index outperformed the broader markets, recording gains of 1.15 per cent to end at the 25,605.99 level. The Top Gainers of the index include ELGI Equipments, RattanIndia Enterprises, Nava Bharat Ventures, Cantabil Retail, HBL Power Systems, and Supriya Lifescience. The Top Losers comprise Amber Enterprises, Techno Electric & Engineering, Privi Speciality Chemicals, Tinplate Company of India, and Heranba Industries.   

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Tuesday, May 17, 2022:    

Valiant Communications – The company has announced the receipt of the order for the supply & commissioning of its indigenously-developed and manufactured communication, protection and synchronisation solutions from Tejas Networks Limited, a Tata Group company. The total value of the order is approximately Rs 19 crore for the State Electricity Board of Madhya Pradesh, covering over 400 power sub-stations.     

Atishay – The company has won the project for providing technical support services for Rajasthan UID (Aadhaar) project for a period of three years through open competitive bidding (e-tender).    

Railtel Corporation of India – The company has received a work order from Defence R&D Organisation (DRDO) for the ‘supply, installation and commissioning for enhancement of data centre and its networking infrastructure’ at a total cost of Rs 26.87 crore (including GST).  

52-week high stocks – GSS Infotech, Silver Touch Technologies, Avro India, Kohinoor Foods, Kanani Industries, Hardwyn India and Mukand Engineers made a fresh 52-week high today.
