Watch out for these small-cap stocks in Thursday’s trading session!

The Indian benchmark indices ended the session higher due to significant gains in multiple sectors. BSE Utilities and BSE Power were the top gaining sectors, each gaining more than 1.8 per cent, whereas real estate and consumer durables sectors suffered notable losses. The BSE Sensex surged 0.21 per cent to 60,348 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index gained 0.24 per cent to a level of 17,754.   

Watch out for these Small-Cap stocks in Thursday’s trading session -   

Kirloskar Oil Engines - Being the top BSE Smallcap gainer, shares of the company were locked at 20 per cent upper circuits and reached a new 52-week high. In the last five trading sessions, shares have soared more than 24 per cent.  

Avadh Sugar & Energy - With a 13-fold surge in volume, shares of the sugar company climbed more than 10 per cent, keeping small-cap bulls busy. Shares of sugar companies like Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries, Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar and Dhampur Sugar Mills also witnessed significant gains.  

Krsnaa Diagnostics - The company has operationalized 100 pathology collection centers in response to earlier notification that it had been awarded a contract to provide Lab Investigation Facilities for BMC dispensaries and hospitals in Mumbai under the ‘Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thakeray Chikitsa’ programme. Shares ended the session more than 9 per cent higher.
