On Wednesday, the Sensex increased by 390.02 points to close at 61,045.74, while the Nifty 50 gained 112.05 points to close at 18,165.35. Among the Nifty Top Gainers were Hindalco, Tata Steel, Larsen & Toubro, UPL and HDFC while Tata Motors, HDFC Life, UltraTech Cement, Adani Enterprises and BPCL were among the Top Losers.

Sundram Fasteners: The company has informed the exchange that it has received the largest EV contract in its 60-year-old history, of $250 million by a leading global automobile manufacturer for the supply of sub-assemblies for its electric vehicle platform.
Gulshan Polyols Ltd: The company informed the exchange that they acquired JGN Sugar and Biofuels Limited. The company will be acquiring 40 per cent stake and will become associate company of GPL.
Vivanta Industries Ltd: The company informed the exchange that they have received work orders worth Rs 52 crore for (a) construction of 165 beds hospital at Dahod and (b) setting up of the laboratory in South Sudan.
