Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus on Monday!

CSL Finance, Bhagiradha Chemicals & Industries, 20 Microns, Oriental Hotels, Himadri Specialty Chemicals. Lemon Tree Hotels, Wonderla Holidays, Solar Industries India, Steelcast, International Constructions and Kshitij Polyline made a fresh 52-week high today

On Friday, Indian equity markets staged a decent recovery from yesterday's losses to close in the green territory. Nifty 50 and Sensex ended the session at 17,397.5 and 58,387.9, up by 0.09 per cent and 0.15 per cent, respectively. 

BSE Smallcap index advanced 0.23 per cent to end at 27,605.08. Top Gainers of the index include Bhagiradha Chemicals & Industries, Filatex India, Subex, GTL Infrastructure, Precision Wires and Sagar Cements. Top Losers of the index comprise Venkys (India), Welspun Corp, Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals and Graphite India. 

The following Small-Cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Monday, August 8, 2022:    

Venkys (India) - For Q1FY23, The company's revenues from operations stood at Rs 1,196.44 crore. Profit after tax at Rs 49.28 crore and EPS at Rs 34.98. During the quarter, high prices of feed ingredients (maize and soya) resulted in lower profitability.

Garware Technical Fibres - The company's net sales increased by 25 per cent to Rs 304.5 crore in Q1FY23 as compared to Rs 243.1 crore in Q1 FY22. Net profit after tax has decreased by 11.7 per cent to Rs 28.2 crore in Q1 FY23 as against Rs 31.9 crore in the corresponding period of FY22. Raw material costs, along with a continuing lack of availability of containers to deliver some of their high-margin export sales have temporarily affected margins for this quarter. 

Easy Trip Planners - EaseMyTrip Thai, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company has signed an exclusive general sales agreement with SpiceJet airline to sell, promote and market passenger tickets and other services to passengers in Thailand effective September 1, 2022. To have a strong foothold in the market, the subsidiary will be extending operations of SpiceJet by opening an independent branded office and representing the airlines in Bangkok, Phuket and other locations in an attempt to cater to the larger travel markets.

52-week high stocks – CSL Finance, Bhagiradha Chemicals & Industries, 20 Microns, Oriental Hotels, Himadri Specialty Chemicals. Lemon Tree Hotels, Wonderla Holidays, Solar Industries India, Steelcast, International Constructions and Kshitij Polyline made a fresh 52-week high today.
