Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus on Monday!

Speciality Restaurants, Sree Rayalaseema Hi-Strength Hypo, Lotus Eye Hospital and Institute, Akshar Spintex, Beardsell, Apar Industries, Lumax Auto Technologies, Ram Ratna Wires, Kennametal India and PVR made a fresh 52-week high today

On Friday, Indian equity markets ended the last week of July month on a strong note. Nifty 50 and Sensex recorded gains of 1.30 per cent each to end the session at 17,185.2 and 57,570.2. 

BSE Small-Cap index surged 1.38 per cent to close at 27,056.38. Top Gainers of the index include GMM Pfaudler, Route Mobile, Vascon Engineers, Rossell India, Asahi Songwon Colors, and Kilpest India. Top Losers comprise Techno Electric and Engineering, Intellect Design Arena, MTNL and KBC Global.    

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Monday, August 1, 2022: 

GPT Infraprojects – The company reported its financial result for Q1FY23. The continued momentum in execution and operational efficiencies led to robust performance in the quarter, despite inflationary input costs. During Q1FY23, the consolidated total income stood at Rs 188.5 crore, higher by 54 per cent y-o-y. Net profit (post minority) for the period stood at Rs 7.9 crore in Q1FY23, higher by 75.5 per cent y-o-y. 

CarTrade Tech - The company reported its quarterly revenue of Rs 92.8 crore in Q1FY23. Adjusted PAT for the quarter ended June 30, 2022, stood at Rs 8.6 crore. The company’s platform witnessed 31 million average monthly unique visitors for Q1FY23, of which 84.7 per cent were organic. 

JK Paper – The company recorded its best ever quarterly consolidated turnover at Rs 1,508.05 crore (up 109 per cent), an EBITDA of Rs 458.09 crore (up 104 per cent) and profit after tax of Rs 264.23 crore (up 154 per cent) for the quarter ended June 2022 compared to the corresponding quarter of previous financial year. 

Talbros Automotive Components – The company received new multi years orders worth Rs 400 crore for both, domestic and overseas customers across all the divisions and varied segments. These orders are to be executed over the next 4-6 years.   

52-week high stocks – Speciality Restaurants, Sree Rayalaseema Hi-Strength Hypo, Lotus Eye Hospital and Institute, Akshar Spintex, Beardsell, Apar Industries, Lumax Auto Technologies, Ram Ratna Wires, Kennametal India and PVR made a fresh 52-week high today.
