Stocks to watch: These small-cap stocks will be in focus on Monday!

Welspun Corp, Nava Bharat Ventures, Grauer & Weil (India), KSB Limited, Priti International, Esab India, Honda India Power Products, Chennai Petroleum Corporation, De Nora India, and Kohinoor Foods made a fresh 52-week high today

The Indian equity markets ended the last trading session of the week on a high note with healthy gains. Nifty and Sensex surged approximately 2.90 per cent each to close at 16,266.20 & 54,326.39 levels, respectively.    

BSE Smallcap index climbed 2.13 per cent to close at 26,351.29. The Top Gainers of the index include Seamec Ltd, Welspun Corp, JK Lakshmi Cement, Nava Bharat Ventures, Meghmani Finechem, and Welspun India. The Top Losers comprise Techno Electric & Engineering, Equitas Small Finance Bank, Panacea Biotech, Equitas Holding, OnMobile Global, and Suryoday Small Finance Bank.   

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Monday, May 23, 2022:    

Arvind Smartspaces - The company reported strong momentum in fresh sales with Rs 150 crore for Q4FY22, aided by strong traction for luxury villas at its existing project in Ahmedabad. The company also reported a jump of 20 per cent in its net collections of Rs 160 crore for Q4FY22 versus the same quarter of the previous year. Q4FY22 PAT grew by 112 per cent on a YoY basis.    

Rane (Madras) – The company announced its financial performance for the fourth quarter (Q4FY22) and full-year (FY22) ended March 31, 2022. The highlights of standalone Q4FY22 performance are as follows:     

  • Total revenue stood at Rs 457.3 crore for Q4FY22 compared to Rs 380.4 crore in the Q4 FY21, an increase of 20.2 per cent.   
  • EBITDA stood at Rs 47.7 crore compared to Rs 25.7 crore during Q4FY21, an increase of 86 per cent. EBITDA margin came in at 10.4 per cent for Q4FY22 against 6.7 per cent in Q4FY21.  
  • Net profit stood at Rs 16.7 crore for Q4FY22 compared to a loss of Rs 56.6 crore in Q4FY21.

52-week high stocks – Welspun Corp, Nava Bharat Ventures, Grauer & Weil (India), KSB Limited, Priti International, Esab India, Honda India Power Products, Chennai Petroleum Corporation, De Nora India, and Kohinoor Foods made a fresh 52-week high today.
