Stocks to watch out for on Wednesday
Sensex gained by 260.98 points or by 0.54 per cent on Tuesday to settle at 48,437.78. Following is a list of stocks that will remain in focus today - ACC, BEML, Avanti Feeds, HDFC & ONGC.
ACC: The company successfully commissioned its new grinding unit (GU) at Sindri in Jharkhand. The new facility is expected to add an additional capacity of 1.4 MTPA cement to the existing 3.0 MTPA unit, taking the total capacity at Sindri to 4.4 MTPA.
BEML: BEML received prestigious orders from MoD for the supply of high mobility vehicles with an approximate value of Rs 758 crore. It will be manufactured at the company’s Palakkad plant in Kerala.
Avanti Feeds: The credit rating agency, India Ratings & Research Pvt Ltd (India Ratings) affirms credit ratings of Avanti Feeds to IND AA-/stable to long-term funds.
HDFC: HDFC intends to issue secured NCDs of around Rs 2,000 crore on a private placement basis on January 7, with an option to retain oversubscription up to Rs 3,000 crore. The press release also stated that the coupon rate is fixed at 6.83 per cent per annum for a time period of 10 years.
ONGC: The company announced that a meeting is scheduled to be held on January 11 of the board of committee for the allotment of securities and the issue of certificates in order to consider & approve allotment of 15,000 NCDs with a face value of Rs 10 lakh at par aggregating to the total issue size of up to Rs 1,500 crore on a private placement basis.
