Tanla Platforms: Karix Mobile, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tanla Platforms, India’s largest CPaaS provider announced the deployment of a conversational banking solution, WhatsApp Business- for India’s third-largest private sector bank i.e. Axis Bank.   

Persistent: Suresh Prabhu joins Persistent Systems as Chief Delivery Officer for industry verticals.   

TCS: The company has been named a leader in the Zinnov Zones for Internet of Things (IoT) Services1, for the fifth consecutive year. The report recognised TCS’ leadership in various segments of IoT services such as digital thread, telemedicine, contactless retail, cybersecurity and public infrastructure.  

BCL Industries: The company continues to be one of the largest suppliers of grain-based ethanol in the nation with a tender to supply 4.5 crore litres of ethanol in the sugar year 2020-21.  

Infosys: Infosys honoured with Stevie® Awards at 2021 American Business Awards.   

TCI Express: The company announced that its new sorting centre at Pune has become operational after receiving relevant regulatory approvals.  

Orient Abrasives: The company is currently encountering difficulties in souring specialised grade bauxite in Gujarat, which is an important raw material in its production of brown fused alumina (BFA) and other products at its Porbandar plant. However, the management of the company is actively working towards finding a sustainable supply of the raw material.   

Star Paper: During the recent storm-like condition/rainfall, a part of the roof of one of the company’s plant buildings collapsed. Production remains suspended in the interim.
