Market on Wednesday ended in the green, overshadowing the global sentiment due to a new strain of COVID-19 found in the UK. Sensex went up by 0.95 per cent, a hike of 437.49 points, and settled at 46,444.18. Nifty too gained, 134.8 points, a 1 per cent gain at 13,601.10. It proved to be a good day for IT stocks with Infosys being one of the top gainers, followed by Hindustan Unilever and Mahindra & Mahindra.  

Stocks to be followed today are as follows:  

 

Mrs Bectors Food Specialities: One of the leading brands in the biscuits & bakery business, the company will list its equity shares on December 24 and is expected to start the trade at a bumper premium over an issue price of Rs 288 per share. The company wishes to utilise the proceeds from IPO towards Rajpura manufacturing facility (Punjab) in order to expand its biscuits line.  

Bharti Airtel: The company surpassed Reliance Jio on the number of active subscriber base and gained 1 per cent, MoM, in October, with an increased number of 3 million subscribers whereas, Jio managed to increase its users by 1.1 per cent. On the other hand, Vodafone Idea fell by 1.2 per cent. Its current market price is Rs 507 per share.   

Dish TV, TATA Communications, GTPL Hathway, Den Networks will be in focus:  

Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar has said that DTH licence will be issued for 20 years, compared to 10 years earlier. The licence fee will be collected quarterly; the licence has also been revised to 8 per cent on AGR. FDI limit which was 49 per cent, now, has been approved to 100 per cent.  

AGC Networks Ltd: The company announced an extraordinary general meeting wherein, Essar Telecom Ltd & Onir Metallics Ltd have been issued 25,00,000 and 8,33,334 shares, respectively. Essar Global Fund Limited is the parent company of both the promoting holders. The stock witnessed a substantial rise on Wednesday and is now settled at Rs 734 per share.  

ARSS Infrastructure Projects: The company will start executing work on the NH-415 in Arunachal Pradesh from Itanagar to the Banderdewa section. There will be 4 lanes and it will be done under engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) contract.
