Bajaj Auto Ltd: The company has signed an MoU with the Government of Maharashtra, which will help set up a manufacturing facility in Chakan, an investment of Rs 650 crore. Bajaj Auto is expected to commence production in 2023, with government support in facilitating necessary permissions, clearances or approvals.
Wipro Ltd: Wipro has entered into a strategic partnership with METRO AG for a period of 5 years. The deal has been valued at 700 million dollars, with an intention to extend for 4 additional years. METRO AG is a leading wholesale food company that caters to the needs of hotels, restaurants, and independent traders, employing more than 97,000 people worldwide. Wipro will help METRO AG in transforming its platform through technology, engineering & consultation.
Gujarat Gas Ltd: CRISIL re-affirms AA+/stable rating to Gujarat Gas, based on a healthy operating performance and a comfortable financial risk profile. Gujarat Gas has also been authorised to set up city gas distribution in 7 new areas and will be incurring Capex of Rs 700 crore-Rs 800 crore, which will be completely funded by internal accruals.
Punjab National Bank: Through its recent QIP, Life Insurance Corporation of India has raised its stake in the bank to 7.73 per cent from the previous owner of 4.12 per cent.
Aster DM Healthcare: Astor will be setting up a clinical excellence hub at Cayman Islands.
