Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on September 27

The FIIs sold equity worth Rs 5,101.3 crore on Monday (September 26) while the DIIs bought equity for a net worth of Rs 3,532.18 crore.    

At 11.30 am on Tuesday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 are trading flat after opening on the higher side in the pre-market session. This is majorly due to the IT stocks rally that took place on Monday in the US markets. The rupee has now officially crossed the significant 80-mark and is now trading at Rs 81.38 per USD.  

  

Sensex is trading at 57,111.61, down by 33.61 points or 0.06 per cent while Nifty 50 has given up the 17,000 level mark and is trading at 16,990.45 level, down by 25.85 points or 0.15 per cent. Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index is trading at the 38,573.85 level, down by 0.11 per cent.

The Top Gainers in Nifty 50 pack are Power Grid Corporation of India, BPCL, Britannia Industries, Hindustan Unilever, and ONGC. Meanwhile, the stocks pulling down the index include Adani Ports & SEZ, Tata Steel, Hero MotoCorp, JSW Steel, and Titan Company.  

  

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 27,793.79, lower by 0.21 per cent. The top gainers in the pack are Hindustan Construction (15.79 per cent), State Trading Corporation of India (11.85 per cent), JTEKT India (8 per cent), Shakti Pumps (India) (6.16 per cent), and Electrosteel Castings (5.95 per cent).  

  

On the sectoral front, BSE Energy, BSE FMCG, BSE Oil & Gas, BSE Telecom, and BSE Utilities are trading higher whereas BSE Metal, BSE Realty & BSE Auto traded on the lower side.
