Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on September 14

The FIIs bought equity worth Rs 1,956.98 crore on Tuesday (September 13) while the DIIs sold equity for a net worth of Rs 1,268.43 crore.      

At the time of market closing on Wednesday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 recovered smartly from the opening lows.   

Sensex ended at 60,346.97, down by 224.11 points or 0.37 per cent while Nifty 50 closed at 18,003.75, down by 66.30 points or 0.37 per cent. On the other hand, Nifty Bank index is at the 41,405.40 level, up by 1.30 per cent.   

The FIIs bought equity worth Rs 1,956.98 crore on Tuesday (September 13) while the DIIs sold equity for a net worth of Rs 1,268.43 crore.      

The Top Gainers in Nifty 50 pack included Bajaj Finserv, IndusInd Bank, NTPC, Power Grid Corporation of India, and SBI. Meanwhile, the stocks pulling down the index were Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies, and Larsen & Toubro.              

BSE Smallcap index settled at 29,892.37, lower by 0.01 per cent. The top gainers in the pack were JSW Holdings (20 per cent), Tata Investment Corporation (20 per cent), Snowman Logistics (14.23 per cent), JK Lakshmi Cement (12.80 per cent), and Satia Industries (11.85 per cent).  

On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in the red with BSE IT leading the losses by 328 per cent whereas BSE Private Bank climbed 1.39 per cent.
