Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on June 22

 At 12.30 pm on Wednesday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading lower as the global economies all over the world are fighting inflation and trying to subdue the inevitable recession

 At 12.30 pm on Wednesday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading lower as the global economies all over the world are fighting inflation and trying to subdue the inevitable recession. Sensex was at 52,002.06, down by 530.01 points or 1.01 per cent while Nifty 50 was at 15,454.50, down by 184.30 points or 1.18 per cent.   

The US stock index futures fell early Wednesday after the major averages jumped in regular trading hours, attempting to claw back some losses, following weeks of selling.  

The crude oil price has fallen by 4 per cent and is trading at $104.95 per barrel whereas the 10-year US Treasury yield is at 3.23 per cent.  

The Asia-Pacific markets were also trading lower on Wednesday, as economic fears continue to weigh on the market.   

The top gainers of Nifty 50 were  BPCL, Hero Motocorp, Hindustan Unilver, TCS, and Maruti Suzuki. Whereas the top loser pulling down the index is Titan Company.  

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 23,963.34, down by 0.64 per cent. The top gainers in the pack were Jain Irrigation Systems, Sadbhav Engineering, Shiva Cement, Sterling Tools, and Sequent Scientific. Each of these stocks has gained more than 9 per cent. Similarly, the top losers include Dhanvarsha Finvest, Hindustan Copper, EID Parry, NALCO, and United Drilling Tools.   

On the sectoral front, all the sectors were trading in the red wherein BSE Metal is down by more than 3 per cent and BSE Realty slipped 2 per cent, followed by BSE Energy, Utilities & Consumer Durables.
