Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on June 2

 At 11.30 am on Thursday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading flat amidst mixed global cues as the investor sentiment is down, owing to the weakening of the global economies.

The Asia Pacific markets were also trading on the lower side as the e-commerce giants such as Alibaba’s shares dipped 3 per cent while Hang Seng index tumbled 1.71 per cent.   

The US equity indices namely, S&P 500 and Nasdaq also tanked 0.75 per cent & 0.72 per cent, respectively. US Futures are also slightly down as the crude oil price has dropped by almost 2 per cent and is trading at $113.15 per barrel.  

Sensex was at 55,593.27, up by 26.86 points or 0.05 per cent while Nifty was at 16,579.25, down by 14.05 points or 0.08 per cent from the last trading session.             

On BSE, 1,778 shares have advanced, 1,318 shares declined whereas 144 shares are unchanged.                

The Top Gainers in Nifty 50 pack are Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finserv, TCS, Coal India, and BPCL. Meanwhile, the Top Losers pulling down the index are Apollo Hospitals, Hero MotoCorp, SBI Life Insurance, Hindustan Unilever, and JSW Steel.  

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 26,595.72, up by 0.23 per cent. The top gainers in the pack were Raymond (12.30 per cent), Nureca, Deep industries, Urja Global, Religare Enterprises, and Fine Organic Industries. Each of these stocks has gained more than 7 per cent. Similarly, the top losers include Brightcom Group, Future Retail, KBC Global, GRM Overseas, and Zuari Agro Chemicals.  

On the sectoral front, all the sectors were trading in the red territory with only BSE IT, BSE Energy, BSE Oil & Gas, and BSE Power being the top gainers. On the other hand, BSE Finance, BSE Healthcare, BSE FMCG, and BSE Auto are losing out the most.
