Stock in News: This commercial vehicle manufacturing giant receives an order of 1560 trucks from VRL Logistics!

The order is from one of the largest logistics companies in India.

Ashok Leyland Limited has recently received an order of 1560 trucks from VRL Logistics Limited (VRL), which is one of the largest logistics companies in India. The order is for AVTR 3120 and AVTR 4420 TT models of Ashok Leyland. The trucks have all the advanced features to bring more efficiency and profitability to VRL’s expanding fleet.   

Ashok Leylands the flagship company of the Hinduja Group, having a long-standing presence in the domestic medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) segment. The company has a strong brand and well-diversified distribution and service network across the country and has a presence in 50 countries. It is one of the most fully-integrated manufacturing companies with headquarters in Chennai. 

Today, the stock opened at Rs 138.05, with a high and low of Rs 138.70 and Rs 137.30. The stock previously closed at Rs 138.05. Currently, the stock is trading at Rs 138.10, up by 0.04 per cent.  

In the last six months, the shares of the company have given about -6 per cent returns and in the last 1 year, the stock has given about 8 per cent returns.    

The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 169.40 and a 52-week low of Rs 113.00. The company has a ROCE of 6.25 per cent and an ROE of 1.68 per cent with a market capitalization of Rs 40,577 crore.
