SSWL bags order for 4,00,000 wheels

Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) on Tuesday informed the bourses that it has won a repeat exports orders for 4,00,000 wheels for Trailer Market. With this order, the company witnessed a growth of around 30 per cent compared to the corresponding period the previous year. The entire volume of 4,00,000 wheels is to be executed by October 2019 amounting to a total value of close to Rs. 20 crore.

The company said that this marks the company’s successful journey from being an entrant to becoming a market leader in this segment in over 4 years. The company expects to further improve its presence in this segment over the coming quarters.

Meanwhile, the stock of SSWL which opened at Rs. 805 per share was trading in negative terrain. On Tuesday, the stock touched an intra-day low of Rs. 795 and at 15.44 hours the stock was trading at  Rs. 805.

SSWL manufactures wheel rims for the two and three-wheelers, passenger cars, multi-utility vehicles, tractors, trucks and OTR vehicles.
