Sonata Software reports PAT of Rs 62 crore for Q4FY20
Sonata Software reported its fourth quarter result of FY20 on Monday. Its consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs 928.68 crore, registering decline of 24.92 per cent QoQ. This was primarily driven by ~26 per cent QoQ fall in domestic revenue, followed by ~24 per cent fall in the international revenue. Revenue from digital space was at 38 per cent.
EBITDA for the quarter fell by 24.29 per cent QoQ to Rs 83.03 crore with a corresponding margin expansion of seven bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 8.94 per cent.
PAT for the quarter came in at Rs 61.79 crore, with QoQ decline of 18.55 per cent.
Notably, as on FY20, the company holds ample cash and bank balance of ~Rs 396.4 crore, which is almost 19 per cent of its market capitalisation (May 11, 2020).
Employee attrition in the quarter was at 16.9 per cent as against 15.5 per cent in the previous quarter while, utilisation level was at 85 per cent versus 89 per cent in the preceding quarter.
