Sobha reports robust sales numbers for Q4 and FY18, stock up 11 per cent
Sobha Limited has announced its operational performance for the fourth quarter of FY18 and for the financial year of 2018 showing growth across regions and product categories.
For Q4FY18, the company achieved new sales volume of 1.02 mn sq.ft. with average price realisation of Rs. 7,993 per sq.ft. The sales volume of the company was up 40 per cent in Q4FY18 on YoY basis. While for FY18, it registered new sales volume of 3.63 mn sq.ft. with average price realisation of Rs. 7,892 per sq.ft. The sales volume was up 21 per cent YoY in FY18.

As per the details given by the company, the new sales value (Sobha share) achieved in Q4FY18 is the highest in the past 12 quarters.

Further, the company stated that Bangalore which is its core market has registered highest ever sales performance both in volume and value terms for FY18. In Bangalore it registered sales volume of ~26 lakh sq.ft as against ~22.5 lakh sq.ft. in FY17. Its performance in the markets of Gurgaon and Kochi have also improved.
Also, during Q4FY18, the company launched two new projects namely ‘Sobha Forest Edge’ in Bangalore and ‘Sobha Gardenia’ in Chennai.
Sobha Limited is a real estate company headquartered in Bangalore having presence in 26 cities across 13 states in India. Its residential projects include luxury and super luxury apartments, villas, row houses and aspirational homes.
The stock of Sobha surged by more than 11 per cent hitting an intraday high of Rs. 564 per share. It had closed at Rs 508.10 on Thursday.
