Snowman Logistics reports rise in revenue, dip in profit

Leading cold chain logistics company reported mixed numbers for Q4FY18 on Tuesday. Reacting to the news, the stock dipped more than 5 per cent during the day.

The company reported net profit Q4FY18 of Rs 1.9 crore as against Rs. 3.6 crore, which is a dip of 47.2 per cent on a yoy basis. The company's revenue were up 16.3 per cent at Rs 51.8 crore as compared to Rs. 44.6 crore. EBITDA for the quarter was at Rs. 12.5 crore as against Rs. 6.1 crore, the company's EBITDA margin at 24.2 per cent versus 13.7 per cent.

During the quarter, the company has added a new warehouse at Krishnapatnam, with this the company has 1,07,200 pallet capacity.

Meanwhile, reacting sharply to the results announcement, the stock of Snowman Logistics Limited closed at Rs. 50.15 per share, down by 5.02 per cent on Tuesday.
