Small Cap buzzers: JK Tyre, Cyient & Mahindra Logistics gain up to 13.20 per cent
Markets after touching 50000, look tired and there is a clear sectoral rotation taking place in the markets with Auto and IT stocks doing well in the last trading session of the week. Markets are expected to remain volatile as the expiry week nears and one can expect some profit booking activity in the markets.
On Friday, JK Tyre, Cyient and Mahindra Logistics managed to inch higher by more than 10 per cent each with JK Tyre leading the pack with gains of more than 13 per cent on an intraday basis. Some of the small cap gainers in today's sessions include names like Bhageria Industries, Apollo Tyres, Kajaria Ceramics, CEAT, Munjal Auto, Century Plywood and Vishaka Industries. All these small cap stocks are trading with gains of more than 5 per cent on an intraday basis.
SRF is the biggest small cap loser along with Genus Power and South Indian Bank. SRF is down by more than 6 per cent on intraday basis.
BSE Small cap index is down by nearly 0.40 per cent on a profit booking day in markets.
