Skipper spikes on receiving CE mark
The company has informed that it has received the internationally recognised CE Marking Certificate from SGS United Kingdom Limited, following which the stock was up more than 4 per cent in the morning session on Monday.
The certification was received for the compliance with Regulation 305/2011/EU applicable in the European region for Construction Products Regulation or CPR. The certificate applies to Skipper's products including Towers and towers accessories, angles, fasteners, swaged type steel tubular poles, conical poles, polygonal poles and high masts.
CE marking certification is needed for exporting engineering products to the European markets. This development would give the company access to key markets in the EU region.

On Friday, the stock of Skipper Limited opened at Rs. 78.55 per share, and at 11:45 hours it was trading at Rs. 81.40 per share, up by 3.69 per cent. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 82 per share on BSE. While the BSE Sensex was at 36,627.64, up by 241.03 points or 0.66 per cent.
