Shares below Rs 100: These stocks traded with price volume breakout on Tuesday

Bajaj Finance, Indusind Bank and ITC were the top three BSE Sensex gainers on Tuesday while Maruti, Bajaj Auto and Nestle were the top BSE Sensex Losers.

The markets gained on Tuesday after trading volatile even as the broader markets underperformed the frontline indices.

BSE SmallCap index was up by 0.88 per cent while BSE Sensex jumped higher by 0.14 per cent on Tuesday. Several Nifty 50 stocks were seen trading with a price volume breakout on Tuesday viz., JSW Steel, ONGC, Bajaj Finance, Tata Steel and UPL.

Himadri Specialty Chemicals,GNFC, Suven Life Sciences, OIL, PVR Ltd, Prestige Estate, Varun Beverages, SAIL, CG Power, Godrej Properties , Navin Flourine, KEC International, GMR Infra and Inox Leisure are some of the top price volume gainers belonging to the BSE 500 index.

OIL, IDBI and SAIL were the top three BSE Mid-cap index gainers on Tuesday even as the trending IRCTC saw profit booking, managing to close down by more than 2 per cent. Mid cap IT stocks Mindtree and Mphasis outperformed the markets by gaining 5.65 per cent and 2.99 per cent respectively.

Bajaj Finance, Indusind Bank and ITC were the top three BSE Sensex gainers on Tuesday while Maruti, Bajaj Auto and Nestle were the top BSE Sensex Losers. HDFC Bank and Axis bank closed in the red, while ICICI Bank closed marginally in the green.
