Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on September 16

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.01 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.28 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Friday with the Sensex up 0.12 per cent at 82,989 and the Nifty-50 up 0.11 per cent at 25,384. About 2,167 shares have advanced, 1,943 shares have declined and 91 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 83,184.34 on September 16, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 25,445.70 on September 16, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.01 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.28 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Oil India Ltd, Macrotech Developers Ltd and NHPC Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Godfrey Phillips India Ltd, Lumax Auto Technologies Ltd and Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Ltd

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Power Index and BSE Utilities Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE FMCG  Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.71 lakh crore or USD 5.61 trillion as of September 16, 2024. On the same day, 387 stocks hit a 52-week high while 35 stocks touched a 52-week low.
