Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on September 12

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 1.32 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.80 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 1.77 per cent at 82,963, and the Nifty-50 up 1.89 per cent at 24,389. About 2,335 shares have advanced, 1,619 shares have declined and 115 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 83,116.19 on September 12, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 25,433.35 on September 12, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.32 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.80 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd and CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Hardwyn India Ltd, Kaynes Technology India Ltd and Optiemus Infracom Ltd.

On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in green with the BSE Telecommunication Index; BSE Metals Index; BSE Power Index and BSE Teck Index being the Top Gainers which gained over 2 per cent each.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.67 lakh crore or USD 5.56 trillion as of September 12, 2024. On the same day, 278 stocks hit a 52-week high while 36 stocks touched a 52-week low.
