Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on September 02
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 0.03 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 0.47 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Friday with the Sensex up 0.24 per cent at 82,560, and the Nifty-50 up 0.17 per cent at 25,279. About 1,776 shares have advanced, 2,260 shares have declined and 151 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 82,725.28 on September 02, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 25,333.65 on September 02, 2024.
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.03 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.47 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were SJVN Ltd, NHPC Ltd and Gujarat Gas Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are SG Finserve Ltd, Global Surfaces Ltd and Thangamayil Jewellery Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE FMCG Index and BSE Financial Services Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Metals Index and BSE Telecommunication Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.65 lakh crore or USD 5.54 trillion as of September 02, 2024. On the same day, 332 stocks hit a 52-week high while 34 stocks touched a 52-week low.
