Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on October 03

The broader markets were in red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 2.27 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 1.84 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Thursday with the Sensex down 2.10 per cent at 82.497 and the Nifty-50 down 2.12 per cent at 25,250. About 1,107 shares have advanced, 2,881 shares have declined and 88 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 2.27 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.84 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Petronet LNG Ltd, Go Digit General Insurance Ltd and Whirlpool of India Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are ITD Cementation India Ltd, The Anup Engineering Ltd and Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd.

On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in red with the BSE Services Index; BSE Realty Index; BSE Power Index, BSE Oil & Gas Index, BSE Capital Goods Index, BSE Bankex Index, BSE Auto Index, Industrial Index, BSE Financial Services Index, BSE Energy Index and BSE Consumer Discretionary Index being the Top Losers which plunged over 2 per cent each.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.65 lakh crore or USD 5.54 trillion as of October 03, 2024. On the same day, 237 stocks hit a 52-week high while 67 stocks touched a 52-week low.
