Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on November 26
The top mid-cap gainers were Piramal Enterprises Ltd, The New India Assurance Company Ltd and Yes Bank.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.13 per cent at 80,004 and the Nifty-50 down 0.11 per cent at 24,195. About 2,277 shares have advanced, 1,644 shares have declined and 110 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.10 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.62 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were PIRAMAL ENTERPRISES LTD, The New India Assurance Company Ltd and Yes Bank. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are NIIT Ltd, Siyaram Silk Mills Ltd and Sterling Tools Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the only Top Gainers while the BSE Power Index and BSE Telecommunication Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.40 lakh crore or USD 5.22 trillion as of November 26, 2024. On the same day, 215 stocks hit a 52-week high while 53 stocks touched a 52-week low.
