Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on November 18

The top mid-cap gainers were Godrej Industries Ltd, Suzlon Energy Ltd and Muthoot Finance Ltd.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Monday with the Sensex down 0.31 per cent at 77,339 and the Nifty-50 down 0.34 per cent at 23,454. About 1,611 shares have advanced, 2,486 shares have declined and 127 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.17 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.69 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Godrej Industries Ltd, Suzlon Energy Ltd and Muthoot Finance Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Garware Technical Fibres Ltd, Banco Products (India) Ltd and Kiri Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Metals Index and BSE FMCG Index were the only Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.29 lakh crore or USD 5.09 trillion as of November 18, 2024. On the same day, 166 stocks hit a 52-week high while 192 stocks touched a 52-week low.
